OnyxCeph³™ is a native Windows™ application for a local client/server network.
VPN connection to the server and cloud server configuration is not supported.

The following network server and workstation requirements should be met for use of OnyxCeph³™ as intended. The system requirements also apply if the software is to be used as a single-user application of a single-user license or as a client application of a multi-user license on mobile devices (notebooks, Windows™ tablets).

¹ The required HD space depends on number and size of managed image data records. An useful assessment can only be made if these values are known.

² The use of a Server-OS is not mandatory. The suitability of terminal systems cannot be guaranteed.

³ For use on MAC hardware, Windows™ must be used via Bootcamp. The use of Parallels as a virtual Windows™ OS is not supported.

The system requirements also apply if the software is to be used as a single-user application on mobile devices (notebooks, Windows™ tablets).

Note:
The requirements for the network client apply equally to desktop and notebook clients.
For a single-user installation (database server and client applications on one computer), please refer to both sections.
The user’s IT must take appropriate precautions to prevent third-party access to the ..\OnyxDB and ..\Pictures database directories.
